This school has closed. Memphis Theological Seminary ended its academic operations on July 31, 2026, after more than sixty years, following a decision by its board and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church to cease operations. The seminary arranged a teach-out partnership with the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University so that enrolled students could complete their degrees. Because the school is no longer accepting or educating new students, it has been archived and removed from our rankings.
